To achieve hi-end boutique mirror finish, esthetically superior to any commercial or architectural finish, known techniques are pushed to the limit.
Polishing metal is an artisanal skill. While it’s often left to the professionals who have the equipment and know-how, the results are not guaranteed. Even a slight change in applied pressure during the polishing can create grooves, micro bruises or unevenness. Only the most experienced polishers are allowed to work on our material. During various stages of polishing and buffing special pastes and compounds are utilized with addition of oil. The rods are sisal buffed and later color buffed with felt bobs and diamond paste down to 3 microns. The result has to be seen to be believed.
HIGHLY SOURCED MATERIAL
Just like Stradivarius chose trees for instruments he made, at Edisad every steel rod is closely inspected for imperfections and it’s chemical composition verified right after arrival from the mill. Stainless steel is an alloy made of carbon steel and chromium. If the composite makeup is not optimal the final appearance can have color blemishes, cloudy spots, distort light and most importantly reduce shine and be darker as if seen through sunglasses. We pride ourselves in delivering a product that’s free of imperfections and has the brightest appearance not found anywhere else.
